Sunday Sales:
It is illegal for any person, firm or corporation to sell trade or barter any alcoholic liquors, beverages, whiskey, wine or any other alcoholic liquors, within the Parish of East Feliciana between the hours of 1:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Sundays.
WARD 2--Sales Restrictions:
The sale or keeping for sale of alcoholic or intoxicating liquors is prohibited in the Ward 2 of the Parish of East Feliciana except when prescribed by a licensed physician as a medicine.
WARD 8--Sales Regulations:
The sale of beverages of low alcoholic content containing more than 3.2% alcohol by weight and not more than 6% alcohol by volume shall be permitted in Ward 8 of East Feliciana Parish. The sale of alcoholic beverages of high alcoholic content, containing more than 6% alcohol by volume for consumption on the premises shall be permitted in Ward 8 of East Feliciana Perish. The sale of beverages of high alcoholic content, containing more than 6% alcohol by volume by the package only and not for consumption on the premises shall be permitted in Ward 8 of East Feliciana Parish.
Location Regulations:
It is illegal for any person, firm or corporation to conduct any business for the purpose of selling or otherwise distributing alcoholic beverages within 300 feet of any building used exclusively as a regular church, or synagogue, public library or school, except a school for business education, or public playground.
Weapons Prohibited:
It is illegal for any person to have in his possession a firearm, or other instrumentality customarily used or intended for use as a dangerous weapon in any premises where alcoholic beverages are sold and consumed on the premises except the owner or lessee of the premises, or their employees, sheriffs, deputy sheriffs, state police, city police, constables, town marshals or persons vested with police power when in the actual discharge of their duties.
